{how to display art: take it to the floor!}

I'm loving the look of artwork on the floor! It really goes along with the current 'undecorate' trend. What I love is the eclectic/collected vibe this gives ... I'm just not sure if I'm cool enough to pull it off myself. I think my family and friends might come over and say, 'So ... when are you planning to hang those photos??' What do you think, would you try this in your own home?
