The other day Adelaide and I sat down at the kitchen table, with a cup of coloured pencils between us. I was distracted for a while, focused on drawing myself a little girl. But when I glanced over, I saw that Addie was very busy drawing her own little girl, too. These drawings make me happy.
The past couple of weeks, it seems as though Adelaide's brain has been developing at a huge pace. And It's really amazing for me to watch her learn, everything, at such a quick and desired pace.
She is drinking in the world.
