Ever since spotting the malachite curtains in Sally Wheat's recent project above, I've noticed malachite-inspired fabrics everywhere! I'm loving the deep jewel-tone these fabrics bring to a room.
Did you know that the mineral malachite is actually a copper hydroxyl carbonate that crystalizes to create that rich green color? It’s been used throughout history for decorative objects, and often runs a pretty penny. So faux malachite brought in with fabrics is a great way to get the look!
